Shannon is a CPDT-KA, AKC Evaluator, and is working towards her Canine Behavior Consultant Certification.

 

As a positive-reinforcement trainer, Shannon uses scientifically proven methods to teach dogs new skills, modify existing behavior, and to condition new responses. Methods that cause pain or fear in order to suppress behavior will not be used in any of her programs.

Training Offers

What Can She Teach?

 

 

Basic Skills for all ages of dogs, including but not limited to the following cues and behaviors: Recall/"Come", Down, Stay, Place, Leave It, Watch Me, Wait, Drop, Heel/Loose Leash Walking, Off-leash Recall, Off.

 

Behavior Modification for the following: General reactivity, leash reactivity, protective behaviors, biting, resource guarding, socialization dog-to-dog and dog-to-human, and much more! Shannon specializes in working with reactive and aggressive dogs.

 

Tricks:  Over 100+ tricks to choose from! Shannon has trained dogs for films and commercials--the sky is the limit!

Group Classes!  Shannon has prepared curriculums for the following courses for small class sizes of 3-6:

Board & Train Programs

Board and Train services are available to dogs and their families looking to instill basic skills, dogs who need help with relationship repair with other dogs in the home, and dogs who need to build social skills with other dogs.

​

All board and train programs are tailored to fit your dogs' individual goals. Weekly private sessions on site, with your dog, are included in cost, as well as 4 hours of private training in your home after their stay.
